The EU AML Revolution: From Regulation to Implementation - 14th May 2026

Master the New EU AML Package with International Expert Andreas Leitner
The regulatory landscape is shifting. With the introduction of the new EU AML Package, including AMLR and AMLD, firms are facing a fundamental overhaul of their compliance frameworks. To ensure you aren't just aware of the changes but are ready to implement them, GACO is proud to host a comprehensive, full-day training event led by international specialist Andreas Leitner.
This is not just another theoretical seminar. This event is designed as a series of intensive, hands-on workshops that bridge the gap between legislative text and operational reality. We will go beyond the "what" and dive deep into the "how," providing you with tangible, practical solutions for the challenges ahead.
What to Expect
Throughout the day, attendees will participate in four targeted workshops covering the most critical pillars of the new regime:
- Workshop 1: Risk Assessment Evolution – Mapping new inherent risk data points and mastering the new residual risk scoring under AMLAR and AMLD.
- Workshop 2: Operational Excellence – Navigating the tightened requirements for employee reliability, training, outsourcing, and group-wide compliance under AMLR.
- Workshop 3: The New CDD Standard – A practical deep dive into revised Customer Due Diligence data points, ongoing monitoring, and the updated approach to high-risk countries.
- Workshop 4: Governance & Accountability – Understanding the enhanced duties for Management Bodies and the increased gravity of sanctions for non-compliance.
Why Attend?
The goal of this session is to move past the mere theory of the AMLR. You will walk away with a clear roadmap on how these regulations must be implemented in practice within your organisation. Whether it is refining your CDD attributes or recalibrating your risk appetite, this event delivers the expert insight and practical tools necessary to stay ahead of the curve.
Join us for a day of rigorous learning, expert guidance, and peer-to-peer networking. Ensure your firm is prepared for the new era of AML compliance.
