GACO Webinar - Crypto: Solutions for a Safer Digital Future

Fraud is the most commonly experienced crime in the UK, accounting for over 40% of crime in England and Wales according to the National Crime Agency.
Many victims of crypto asset fraud and theft remain unaware for extended periods, frequently making repeated payments to criminals until they attempt to withdraw funds from the scheme, only then realising they have been deceived.
For victims of crypto asset investment fraud, the cost of trying to recover lost assets can escalate quickly. Between legal fees, court fees, investigatory fees, witness statements, expert reports and counsel’s opinions, recovering what you have lost adds up.
Recovering crypto assets following theft or fraud is a complex legal recovery process often requiring cyber intelligence specialists, recovery agents, forensic accountants and expert lawyers. This means that not only have you lost the value of your asset, but you also need to ensure you are able to fund the process of recovery.
What are possible solutions in such a context?
GACO is very happy to have engaged Louise Abbott, Partner at Keystone Law to deliver this very interesting webinar.
