The international speakers:

David Lewis, Managing Director and global head of AML Advisory and intelligence practice, Kroll

From 2015 to January 2022 David was Executive Secretary of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the senior advisor to G7 and G20 on AML and CFT. Before that David was Co-Chair of the FATF Evaluation and Compliance Group, and he worked for the UK Government as head of AML Policy and the Illicit Finance Unit at HM Treasury, and as a senior member of the Serious Organised Crime Agency (now the National Crime Agency). David will give us a global overview of where we are and where we need to be in our fight against financial crime.

Geoff White,  Investigatory journalist and author

Geoff has covered it all and his work’s been featured by BBC News, Audible, Sky News, The Sunday Times and more. Geoff’s first book Crime Dot Com, took readers inside the murky world of the digital underground, uncovering cybercrime’s emergence as today’s global threat. His latest book The Lazarus Heist, an analysis of the growing links between government cyber attackers and organised crime gangs operating seamlessly on a global scale and Geoff will explain how they can impact us.

Che Sidanius Lawyer, author and Global Head of Financial Crime & Industry Affairs at Refinitiv

Che’s role is to identify regulatory changes and lead programs to enhance the fight against crime and deliver the best possible outcome for the industry, he’s the founder of the Global Coalition to Fight Financial Crime and Co-Chair of the B20’s Integrity and Compliance Taskforce and author of “Countering Terrorist Finance: A Training Handbook for Financial Services” has extensive experience in managing fraud, corruption, AML, CFT and workplace ethics risks. Che will give us insight into the risks and benefits of increased technology, particularly cryptocurrencies and blockchain.

Maxine Hulme QPM, Ex Metropolitan Police and now inspirational speaker

Serving as one of the Metropolitan Police Service’s most senior officers, Maxine Hulme QPM rose through the ranks of one of the most highly pressured working environments that exists, and in doing so was awarded the QPM for her services to policing. From leading one of the most historically significant change programmes to the policing service across London, to spearheading the largest counter-terrorism exercise the UK has seen, she is well-placed to discuss such topics as the role of the Board in fighting crime, emerging threats, insider threats, building resilience and ransomware.
