ICA GACO Gibraltar Compliance Certification

Dear GACO Member,
We are very pleased to announce the launch of the above certificate.
Said certificate is focused on school leavers that would want to pursue a career in compliance and are looking for a solid and broad certification that is not only recognised locally by GACO but that is issued by an international association such as the ICA.
Please kindly read the press release here: https://www.int-comp.org/insight/international-compliance-association-and-gibraltar-association-of-compliance-officers-gaco-launch-new-certification-in-financial-crime-and-regulatory-compliance/.
The same training would be ideal for anyone that had a career break and is now considering entering into the compliance universe.
The training is NOT aimed at people who are already employed in compliance and have already several years of experience. The certificate is an entry level qualification for newcomers into the sector. It will equip the candidates that will enrol for the course with all the necessary tools, theoretical knowledge and skills to thereafter apply for entry roles in a compliance function. It will allow them as well to thereafter undertake other ICA qualifications as they progress in their career.
This is an important achievement for Gibraltar and a stepping stone to create a new generation of much needed qualified Compliance Officers.
Please kindly share this email with all your contacts that might have interest in a career in Compliance.
Any one interested can sign up using the following link and choosing as option "Gibraltar": https://www.int-comp.org/courses/ica-and-gaco-certification-in-financial-crime-and-regulatory-compliance/
The certification has 10 different modules and you will have to pass a final exam. We kept the costs low at £500.
The combined ICA/GACO training modules:
• An Introduction to Regulation
• The Evolving role of Compliance
• Compliance Risk Management
• Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing
• Managing Conduct Risk
• Customer Due Diligence
• Managing Sanctions Risk
• Protecting the consumer
• The Impact of Technology and Digital
• Know Your Regulators
Please kindly share with as many interested parties as possible. Thank you.
Best regards,
Carlos M. Martins
